ScholHERship applications are closed. Check back in March of 2027!

Soroptimist International of Vacaville Twilight ‘s ScholHERship Awards Program will open in March of 2027. The club will award scholarships to Solano County residents who identify as female, demonstrate a financial need, pursuing additional training or currently enrolled in a program of study: vocational/tech school, apprenticeship program, adult school, community college vocational program or a short term skills improvement program.

ScholHERship awardees can determine how they will use the scholarship funds.

There is not a GPA requirement, however completed applications must include:

• A brief, autobiography including the following information: Identify the program you will be pursuing or plan to pursue, what made you take this path, your goals and vision for your future, and how this scholarship will help you meet your goals.

• Two letters of recommendation – these letters can be from a teacher, family member, or friend. Anyone who can verify your goals and vision as well as speak to your character.

• Completed applications are due Sunday, May 2, 2027.

Interviews will be required and scheduled for the week of May 9, 2027.

Scholarship recipients will be invited to attend the Soroptimist International Twilight Annual Installation Dinner, scheduled for June 17 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where scholarships will be presented.

Previous recipients of Soroptimist International of Vacaville Twilight scholarships are not eligible.
